I hate to admit it but I goofed. Too many things going on and I misplaced the battery hookup diagram I made when getting four new 6 volt batteries for the coach.
I have a '99 DSDP. Does anybody know how the batteries connect? There are four jumpers (tow long and two short) and the two principle cables (pos and neg) along with three addons to the positive terminal.

Hi Miguel,
Go to The 12volt Side of Life (Part 1) . Scroll down about 1/2 way and there will be a diagram showing how the 6 VDC batteries should be connected.

Miguel,

Last winter I decided to clean up my battery compartment and battery connections. I marked all the cables as I disconnected them in such a way that I could reconnect them exactly the way the were.

Once I had everything cleaned up, about a week later, none of my markings made sense.

I found a '99 or 2000 Dutch Star on a dealers lot and asked if I could take photos so I could reconnect mine. I took a series which were of iffy help, but I did get mine hooked back up with only minor mishaps (sparks). I didnt have too much trouble with the large cables, it was the small bunched wires that gave me the most trouble since I had no idea what they were connected to and therefore, didnt know if they should be pos or neg.

You may be able to get some help from the attached photos; such as where the white bundle, and black single wire is connected.

You can click on the photo for a larger view.

NOTE: These dirty batteries are not mine... mine are now clean and neat.
