We have an Atwood LP gas detector "Protechtor" series 2001 that indicates it is hardwired with a 1 amp fuse protection device between the battery or converter. Our coach is a 2007 Mountain Aire MACA 3991. There is'nt a flashing light at the detector, and the test button does not bring any results. Does anyone know where I can locate this fuse?

Goodturn, You have a switch for LP detector in display area above entrance door.
A 1 amp fuse is in a coiled up bundle of wires right hand side of firewall outside under hood.

007. Thank-you! I shut the switch off last fall, not realizing that it was for the detector, and forgot to turn it on again. I could not find the coiled wire and fuse though.

The wires may not be a coil but a bundle tucked under your black box which may have your BIRD inside.

Thanks 007. I'll check there tomorrow. I just returned from the Daytona 500 and am going through my e-mails.
