Our coach is a 2007 Mountain Aire 3991. Our LPG monitor inside the coach reads full, while the guage on the tank reads almost empty. I know we are not full, and when I tap the tank, it does sound almost empty. Any suggestions on how to get the inside monitor to read accuratley?

Goodturn sorry about missing your post slipped by us. The old displays you had a pot to turn but I believe the newer coaches as yours have another method for adjustment. Have not found how but maybe someone can explain how for you.
You should have something explaining how in your black box maybe.

To; goodturn,

I don't know if newmar made changes, but on my 2002 mountain aire diesel as part of the monitor panel I have small holes under the fresh water, black waater, gray water and propane. Avery small screwdriver can be inserted in these holes and there is an adjustment screw at each that can be turned. Suggestion, fill tank , than adjust setting.

Hope this works, let me know.

Aime

Hi Goodturn,
Follow what has been previously posted to see if the small hole is there to adjust the monitor panel. If there is no adjustment hole, look in your coach documentation or call Newmar service to determine how the monitor panel is adjusted.

Once you know how the adjustment is made, have the propane tank filled. With the tank full and on level ground make the adjustment. Turn the adjustment only far enough for the monitor to read full. Turning it too far and it may not come off the full mark.

My manual says to hold the LPG key for 3 seconds and insert a pen point into the "E" when the tank is empty, or the "F" when it is full. I have tried the "E", but the monitor continues to read full. I will fill the tank follow the full procedure then monitor the tank guage as we use the propane this coming weekend. Thanks for your suggestions. My monitor seems to adjust differently.
