I'm still working on the options and specials list for the 2027 Essex, but I should have it to you soon. The "big one" is finding a way to boost the ISX 605 to something more like 900 HP. With enough HP, you can fly anything!

The 2027 Essex comes with a 900 HP ISZ. I think you're using an old order sheet. Looking forward to your recommendations. I'm excited. I am booking the hotel soon to watch it get built in April 2027.

Well then, let's go for an even 1,000 HP...nice round number. We're gonna need bigger shocks all around, however. Not sure about wheelie bars. Well see how our 500 HP MADO does without them before making a final decision.

All the best,

TJ

I guess the obvious suggestion (to me) is drive one of each. Are you purchasing from a dealer? Even if youíve made up your mind, visit a large dealer and ask to test drive a couple of power options.

I think that is a great plan! Nothing beats hands-on experience.

MA, LA or Essex with a Spartan chassis you can't go wrong. Have a friend who had a Essex on a Spartan chassis and purchased a LA on FL and said he wished for many reasons to have gotten a Spartan chassis. He has owned 5 high line Newmar all previously on Spartan's except for his 16 LA.

We are looking everywhere as far as dealers and private. Our local dealer only has new MA and LA models and we have driven them. Of course it is one thing to test drive a coach empty vs on that has added weight and a toad behind it. I think are swaying towards a LA or Essex.

I have had the LA then went to a MA. I really don't notice much difference in power at all. I climb the same pass to get home and there was about 3 mph difference is speed up the pass.

performance

A little off topic but what are the opinions about the DSDP with the 450 engine. Seemed sluggish from a performance standpoint during test drive compared to my current 40' SOB with the 380. Sorry for the off topic reply.
Thanks for any feedback.
David
