Having never had a macerator toilet system and now in the process of ordering a Mountain Aire that comes with them, I need a little help. What is the "RV Sanicon Turbo System" option? Is this for pumping out the holding tanks through a smaller hose? Can the system still be dumped in the traditional gravity manner? I'm guessing it can be.

Is the RV Sanicon Turbo System an option I should consider? Anyone out there that has one and can give me some guidance?

Million dollar question is are you going to get the Sanicon? Before I bought my first RV, I was convinced I only wanted one with a Sanicon. I wound up buying one without and while I'm not crazy about dumping with a standard hose, it isn't as bad as I thought it would be.

But, part of me still wonders if love would be more pleasant with a Sanicon (assuming it doesn't break, then it could be a real bear).

You have identified one of my concerns; increased complexity and the possibility of malfunction or breakage. I have been RVing for a lot of years and handling the holding tank dumps has never been particularly troubling.

Since it is possible to add the aftermarket version, I am leaning toward not including the Sanicon as one of the options we order. Need to make a decision soon since we will be placing the order next week.

Well that one is a bit complex. So Let me describe it

It is a pump that punps about six gallons per nintue via a 3/4 to 1" hose....

Now the 3" Hose can dump a full 36 gallon tankj in less than 1 minute and without any moving parts other than what's being dumnped.

The Sanicon Turbo uses a 1.5” hose and is much faster than the Sanicon with the 3/4” hose previously installed. It will empty a 40 gal tank in 50 seconds. You can only get a Sanicon Turbo right now as a factory installed item as the have not been released to the aftermarket yet. I plan on installing a Sanicon Turbo as soon as they are available.

I installed the sanicon so in the event that we get home and have anything in the black tank, I can extend the hose to the toilet in the house to empty it. Ours is the original (smaller hose) version and haven't had a problem with it. Sure is a lot cleaner and easier to use than the old gravity slinky.

I just bought a coach and order the turbo sanicon based on how I intend to use it. I imagine I will use the standard set up the majority of time, however I intend to park the coach at home and being able to drive the coach 4 hours and pulling into my drive and and being able tho dump my tanks without having to find a dump seemed like a good idea. It all depends on how you use and where you might keep your coach.

We have the Sanicon turbo on our new MA and I absolutely love it. Involves much less storage (it all lays nicely in the wet bay), empties tanks very rapidly, and NO STINK! No hoses to connect/disconnect and nothing to clean. No fuss, no muss. If you are worried about breakdowns, you can still lug your old hoses around; Sanicon has a bypass connection that allows you to go back to the traditional means.

Apparently they have now released the turbo for aftermarket add on. Just looked today and they have multiple after market add on Turbos. Last time I checked, it was like you said, only a manufactured installed option.

It came on our 2017 MADP....as they did the walk thru and explained it and then we transferred things from old coach to new coach..he came by saw the old sewers hoses and said "you wont need them"...I said I would stay with old method.....Justin then said.."look try the Sanicon a cpl of times ,then decide".... so I did...I have never stopped using it...it is so easy and so fast... I only take it out when ready to use...my water bay is as clean as can be...
Get it...Use it.....you'll love it...C

Ok, now I'm going to have to see if that can be added as a special on a Ventana. It's only an option on the DS and higher.

I wasn't able to add it as a production special on our 2015 Ventana, but since we were taking delivery at the factory (CPU), I was told that I could add it as a post production item during my week in Nappanee. I purchased the Sanicon online and shipped it along with few other post production install items to Newmar. Had them all installed during our orientation week. Congratulations on your new Ventana.
