Made a dumb move

Thought I would share Incase someone else might make the same mistake; we are on our first outing in the new DS, in getting ready we transferred our pots and pans and kitchen utensils from our CS that had a gas cook top. (By now some of you already know my dumb move[emoji51]) well it turns out that the beautiful set of aluminum pots and pans that we purchased for the CS are useless with an induction cook top. Basically if a magnet won’t stick to it your out of luck. Live and learn, right....Stuart
PS; I know I should have read the instructions, put was more focused on things like slides, jacks, inverter and such, who knew the cook top needed special consideration.

Rest assured, Stuart, that you are neither the first nor the only one to have done that. Life is no longer as simple as it once was.

Congratulations on the new Dutch Star. Enjoy it.

Are you going to return the rig and get one with a gas stove?

Good reason to go out and eat! We were warned at our PDI, so we went shopping after the first night.

We like the stacking set. Very popular amongst boaters and rv’rs. Be careful though...they make many different sets. Ceramica coated, non-coated, induction ready, non-induction ready.... The set takes up a lot less room in a drawer, and with the felt nesting thingys....they don’t rattle going down the road.

I took out the gas cooktop and went induction. Bought a set of the Magna induction cookware and kept the antique Griswold cast iron pan.

Another fan of the Magma set. Very heavy duty construction and nice quality.

Your right, I did get heated floors and love them here in sunny California, last night overnight was mid 40s and the floors on medium worked great! And yes he is responsible for the floors and Sanicon[emoji4]
