Question MCD shade remote

I have a 2015 DSDP 4369 with MCD remote.
My question: Is there a way to recharge the shade remote control?
I noticed that it has a connection on one end. Is there a connector to recharge it or does the battery get replaced. It's been over two years since it was new and I'm expecting it to run dry soon.
Has anyone had their remote die on them?

Pop the cover and you'll see some flat batteries that you can replace. I had them in my last coach, a 2010 Winnebago, never changed them in the 7 years I owned that coach. I had an extra remote which I use with my 2016 Newmar I just purchased and those batteries are the same age as the one with the Winnebago. They last a VERY long time.

If you're concerned then replace them, it's cheap insurance.

Are you speaking of the 14 channel remote that is velcroed on the wall ? If so, you will eventually need to pop the top off ( a simple task but it - it feels like it's going to break)
and replace the batteries. I did mine after 3 years... probably didn't need to, but it was on my list to get to all the batteries in the remotes. If you have a safe, check those also-- the batteries in mine were about dead and had a lot of corrosion on them.

Sorry, in my post above, I was referring to the 2 station hand held small remote control. I also had the large 14 station remote and it was going strong after 7 years and along with the small remote unit, I never changed the batteries during that time.

Thanks for the information.
I get the batteries replaced as soon as I can get the cover off.
