Shunt is in battery bay, however I put the BMK controller in next bay aft so as to be protected from elements.

I thought so, along with plans to add even another positive cable for solar. Hopefully I won't find out the hard way if it was a mistake.

Thank you to all that responded. It does appear that many have installed the BMK, ARC & AGS with the PCS without issue. It is a mystery why Magnum is still stating they are incompatible.

Below is the corporate positions of Magnum & Precision Circuits on the subject as of 10-3-19:

BMK & ARC are not compatible with any version of the PCS. The incompatibility will manifest itself with random AGS starts, corrupted data displayed on the remote & faults. The ARC remote was designed for residential use, not RVs. Recommend that the two systems not share the same data bus, but operate as two independent systems. Incompatibility does not exist with the RC remote. Referred me to Precision Circuits tech support.

Precision Circuits Inc
Version 4 of PCS had compatibility issues with Magnum products. Not aware of any issues with version 5. PCS was not tested with ARC. Referred me to Magnum tech support.

Obviously there is much confusion about compatibility from two systems that were supposed to work together. Sure seems that both companies would want to clear up the confusion once & for all. But apparently not, because they are leaving compatibility testing to the end users.
