Memorial day

Happy Memorial Day to all my Brothers and Sisters of the armed services! Thank you to all who have served. A special Thanks and prayer to those that gave, and to all who payed the ultimate price for our freedom, may you Rest In Peace! Let’s all be careful out there and honor the service of our military.

Mark

While I appreciate your sentiment Memorial Day honors the fallen. Veteran's Day is for those serving or who have served. I am grateful for those who gave their lives for our freedoms.

Remembering two (of many) who gave their life in service to our nation: CDR Frank Latta, US Navy, and CAPT Alan Harriman, US Army. I served with CAPT Harriman and was acquainted with CDR Latta, though only as a child. Good men, both!

A solemm day, not a happy day. My mind is filled with the endless stupid jokes, hilarious nights on the town, barbecues, and shared family weekends with good buddies. Friendship, courage, and honor to the end. I can still see them as if they were with me today...

Just got home from visiting 3 cemeteries with our North St Paul American Legion Honor Guard. We preformed honors at each. To my Father who served in a tank under Gen. Paton in WWII rest in peace Dad.
