I am having a problem with my entry door latching on my 1999 gas Mt. Aire. It appears to me that the stricker bolt is too high for the door latch to catch. I have adjusted the stricker bolt as low as I can. Is there any adjustments I can make on the door itself to raise it up?

If all the latching in the door latch is ok maybe you could use a new striker as this one. Contact Oemy they may still have some left.
As long as the chassis rail frame is straight and not bowed with jacks down your door should close ok and not bind the bottom of door when closing.

I have the same problem with mine. If you look at the door hinge closley you will probley see the hinge worn and droped down. I used some aluminum rivit washers, split to push over the hinge pin, to shim mine back up and it works good again.

Thanks Jimary, I believe that is just what I need to do. I played with the door a bit today and see that indeed I can shim it up.

Thanks again.
