I think Foretravel has a large joystick type of engine brake control. Has anyone replaced or modified the standard rocker switch with a different type for quicker access and control? Also would like to swap positions of the pedal and tag dump switches. Anyone try this? Are the wires long enough to allow the transposition?

I'm not familiar with the Foretravel joystick. But, on my 2004 Allegro Bus there was a bank of rocker switches. The jake brake switch (suplied by Freightliner) had a large paddle handle on it so you could reach over and grab it in the dark without having to look at it. On my 2007 Bus, Spartan supplied the same basic rocker switch as the rest of the rocker switches and now I have to look to find it. I replaced it with a Freightliner switch and now all is well.

I did relocate a few switches too and there generally is enough wire slack to do that but I can't say for sure on your MADP.

Cruzer, where'd you get the Freightliner exhaust brake switch? The one on my coach is at the far left of a bank of switches on the control panel to the left of the drivers seat. It would be great to have a switch that was easy to find. My coach has the generic rocker style of switches.

TIA!
