Moisture in Washer when moved

We have a 2018 Ventana which is our first MH and still learning about everything on this unit. After using our washer we have wiped the drum out, left the door open for days to make sure it is dry and even leave the door cracked open during storage or moving. Several times we have gone back after storing or moving and there is moisture all over the window and a little in the gasket. Is this normal? If not, any suggestions on what is going on here? Thanks in advance for your help.

You didn't really define "storage or moving" so I'm not sure of temperature and humidity. We leave the door open about 2 inches .... wide open would be better. Front loaders are particularly likely to have condensation.

We've had full slide problems many times now and have not been able to put out our full wall slide probably half the time we've had the coach. So being able to check on it is sporadic but we make sure to dry it out every time after we've used it for many days. I have even left the door cracked open behind the closet doors. Went on a weekend trip this past weekend and we manually put the slide out because of a large group. Upon checking the washer, the door was closed again and moisture in the washer. Seems to happen anytime we take the mh on the road. Does this make any more sense? My husband thinks there is a pump problem or something bringing water into the drum?

You're never going to get all the water out of the internals of a washer, they need to be winterized for that reason.

On ours, the door has to be open pretty far before the recessed clear window actually allows air to circulate. Ours is now held open with a foam block. We are currently at a campground that has front-load commercial machines. They all have signs that say "please leave the washer doors open when not in use".

Some water always remains in the pump area below the tub. Perfectly normal. Winterize!

Even more so if your washer/dryer combination does not have an outside dryer vent.
also be sure to drain & clean the lint filter after use... ours has about a cup of water remaining after the final load..

Thank you everyone. Sounds like this is a norm so won't worry about it. Going to Nappanee in September and wasn't sure if this should be put on the list. Appreciate your help.
