I have a 2006 MADP 4301 on a Spartan. Could someone tell me how to recalibrate the LP level. The gauge on the tanks reads empty and the panel shows full. All others read ok. Thanks for any input. I do have the propane tank full now.

When you get your propane tank filled, you should be able to adjust the gauge in the instrument panal. If yours is like mine, there is a small hole with a slot for small screw driver right above the gauge. With the propane tank as full as you can get it, adjust the screw so the gauge shows full. It should be ok going forward.

When the LP tank is filled,it will only filled to about 80% of tank capacity. At this point my tank gauge would read about 3/4 full. When pressing the LP button inside,it should read "Full"---this you can adjust with a small screwdriver at the setscrew hole above the LP button.

Maybe I said something wrong. When my tank is empty the panel shows propane full. When the tank is 1/2 the panel still shows full. Thanks

It will show full until you make the manual adjustment with a small screw driver. Those gauges in the monitor panal all need to be calibrated. There should be a small hole for a small screwdriver above the button labeled lp. Try adjusting the screw before filling the tank and see if it makes any difference. If the gauge on the tank shows half full, set the panal to one half. Then when you fill the tank, readjust the panal gauge. If that doesn't work for you, then it's time for a dealer because I think there's something wrong with the sensor or the panal itself.

He may not have the screwdriver adjustment on his there is another way to adjust the newer displays and I can't remember, one of those CRS things.
Someone with the newer display should help him out.

The newer system has a red "F" and a red "E" button that is pressed when the tank is full or empty.

I don't ever plan to let my LP get low enough the calibrate the empty indicator. I have calibrated the full indicator, but it's not very accurate.

Newmar phoned and informed me to let the propane tank get MT and then press the red button under the E and let the panel beep 3 times and it will reset to MT. Afer you fill the tank, press the red button under the F and let it beep, the the panel should show the proper level. Thanks to all who replied.
