I cannot find anywhere in the info I got with the MH which Allison transmission is in it. Anyone know?
Also the Allison manual describes a Hydraulic Retarder. Is this on every Allison?

Thanks
Mike

The data plate is on the street side of the transmission.
If you have a C8.3/ISC or smaller Cummins, it will be a 3000 series Allison.
Foretravels and maybe Prevosts MHs are the only coaches I know of that have the optional retarder.

Our 2000 DSDP had a transition trans. It carried the 3060MH designation, but had the higher rating and longer warranty of the 3000MH trans. And yes, I verified the info with Allison using the transmission serial #'s
