The Mountain Aire for '07 has been announced and is substantially upgraded to the K-2 Spartan chassis. It will be available in 41 and 45 feet versions. The ISM Cummins power will be 450 HP, just like predicted. A new feature only available on MADP and Essex will be self certering steering. This feature has been tied up by Newmar for a two year head start on any competion. The units, both MA and Essex have been totally redesigned with new looks front and back. One piece windsheilds are almost certain.

I'm curious, were did you come across this info. Everytime one of of you guys come across info months ahead of any official announcement, I try to find the source and usually can not find it. I want to join the group that gets the inside/early info. Maybe you can help? (45 ft Mountain Aire, 450hp, K2- yeah!!! maybe I'll be headed there someday!)

There are several ways I suppose, but recently, last week, dealers were advised and shown the models at an off site location in Indiana. Some of that infomation was learned and other trade publications released much of it. Just got to keep your ear to the ground.

When will all this info be officially released to the "motoring public"?
Being a future RV owner, prayerfully, I am learning tons off the website for future reference on a purchase..
Thanks

TERRY, when you DO get there, can I have your current DSDP?
One thing truely "new" and exclusive to Newmar for 2007 (MADP, EXDP, & LADP only) is the "revolunary" COMFORT DRIVE STEERING. I saw the first adv. for this device in the March FMCA. It is made by TRW. ED

One piece windshields with the hanging mirror configurations are on both the MADP and the EXDP.

are they not already on the 06 DSDP? I still can't get enthused about the look, but do understand it is almost impossible to walk into one! ED

Ed, I have more problem with the look of the '06 DSDP more so than the inverter mirrors. The back end looks too fleetwood (Southwind) for me and the high genset slide out is ackward to say the least. If they put the same thought into the EXDP and the MADP I will look elsewhere. I'm going to see both on the 20th this month.

Only a week to wait. Good luck in your search. Please let us know what you find! ED

Will do. I'm on my way to Pamona where 5 '07 Essex's and hopefully some '07 Mountain Aire's will be on display. The first showings.
