I have a 2016 Newmar Mountainaire and when I fire it up I get a message in the dash to check Tag Axle. How do I check the tag axle on my motorhome. Need Help.

Welcome to the forum.
May find a quicker answer in the chassis forum of your coach or the chassis manual that should be with coach. -- Brochure -- Owners Guide
Some tags need adjustments for correct tracking of tag.
Many other answers can be found in this link for your coach.

We had this issue with our 2016 Dutch Star for a year. Worse than that, it would come up every time we would slow down at a stop sign or a red light. We learned to ignore the alarm while we tried different repair venues. We even went to a couple of Freightliner issues without success.
Cutting to the chase we finally went to Freightliner in Gaffney,SC where they finally diagnosed a short in the wiring near the rear axle. You may want to give them a call if you aren’t near Gaffney.
Been good ever since.... Good luck

I get the check tag message after the motorhome sits for several weeks and the air bags deflate. The message goes away once the system airs up. I also get the message if I manually dump the tag for backing up and turning and then shifting to drive. It take a few second to re-inflate then the message goes away.

I've been getting the same message and it happens just like "stang37" (above) reports.

I believe you are supposed to get that
warning. It is just telling you that there is no air in the bags. When the bags fill the
warning goes away.
