Mountain Aire Water Heater Mounting Question

The new-to-me '97 Mountain Aire appears to have had the water heater replaced. When I took delivery, I thought the cover had been damaged, but it swings back into place. It looks like there is a screw, at least on the forward edge that has pulled out, but access looks to be inside the cover.

I'm just curious how the water heater is supposed to be secured. I doubt it is just held by the small screw that has pulled out. It made the trek from Houston to Colorado Springs, but it needs to be secured before any future trips. The attached pic shows how the rear of the water heater is rotated down, pushing the bottom of the outer cover out. I'll try to grab a better pic later this morning.

Methinks the panel, (into which your WH appears to be mounted correctly), has broken loose from its mounting points on the chassis of of your coach.

This is a simple fix. The panel that the water heater is mounted in is just like a baggage door. It's hinged at the top. Just push the bottom back in flush with the other body panels and attach a metal strap underneath to hold it in place. You also are missing the screen/grill in the cover. I'm attaching photo's to show how I fixed mine.
