Hi all,
Newbe here. Just wondering if there is a source for Newmar MSRP and option price lists. I've seen such lists for Tiffin products on another website but not for Newmar.
Thanks, davisjc

This company has a good one. Just used it for option pricing not sure if they are worth buying from. They have a bunch of models they offer.

davisjc, welcome to our website and forum. We are glad to have you join us. What models of Newmar are you looking at specificly? You will find a lot of very useful info here and in the Newmar owners section on this topic. We look forward to helping and learning along with you. Good luck in the hunt.

Mike,
Thanks so much for the welcome. We are looking primarily at the '08 KSDP (3910/3916) and the '08 DSDP (4023/4024). We've been able to see a couple of KS's at dealers but not the DS's so far. Not many dealers in Maryland. I made use of the websites that "007" and "Aridon" provided (thank you both) to come up with a MSRP but I have some questions like: Should you pay the difference for Auto leveling jacks vs the standard ones? Is the fiberglass roof worth the price difference? Should you pay about $6800 for the 400 hp ISL or is the 360 hp ISC sufficient? I'm sure that I will have many more as my research continues but these seemed to jump out at me.
Edit: Sorry, I should have said that these questions relate to the KSDP.

Hi davisjc,
I'll add my welcome to iRV2 and pre welcome you to the iRV2 Newmar family. The items mentioned in your last post are all personal preference. This is my personal preference:
1. no to the auto leveling. I've never had it and never missed it. Make sure the jacks lift via hydraulics, not electric motors. The current signature coach is leveled by my 11 year old grandson.
2. Yes to the fiberglass roof. You will need to maintain it, the same as the sides of the coach. It should last as long as forever is,,,,with a coach.
3. No to the big engine. You can see by my signature that I have an 05 KSDP, like you are considering. My ISC 330 does just fine hauling the weight mentioned in the signature. I will not win any races, but I am not the slowest truck on the road. Horses must be fed, even if you are not using them.
On edit, make sure your choice of leveling kacks used hydraulic fluid for lifting power. Do not get the leveling jacks that use electricity as the lifting power.

Gary,
Thanks for the personal preference read. At least yours is backed with some realworld experience. My RV experience is limited to a few years of tent trailer camping way, way back in my distant past.

Back in 2004 Newmar sent me an 05 Msrp sheet on all the Dutch Star models and options, try the factory for the info you need.

I was able to get about 28% off MSRP on my Winny can you expect to do the same on a Dutch Star. I understand if I trade the numbers are different. I might sell my winny outright.

davisjc, In response to your questions I must disagree with Gary.
1. Do NOT get the standard electric jack(see my previous posts on problems), go with the optional hydraulic jacks.
2. The standard roof is fine it does not streak your sides like other manufacturers roofs.
3. Larger engine as Gary says is a decision only you can make-personally would go with the larger engine.

Dave,
My mistake. I thought all the jacks on the 08 KSDP were hydraulic and the questions was about auto vs manual. Looking at the 08 brochure, the 08 has electric jacks as standard! I agree with you and have changed my post. Hydraulic jacks is the only way to go.
