The ones on mine were only about 3/8" thick and tapered. I used a very sharp ice pick. Pry a little on one side, then move to the other. Barely press them in when replacing them.

Just put a screwdriver or drill to them....they will be destroyed by removing anyway

There are no dumb questions on the forums Tom.
I would use a center punch and a drill the same size of wood hole and drill out the wood and be careful as to not drill out the metal screw head, once the wood is partially remove remove remaining wood with sharp knife.

Drill a tiny hole, screw in a wood screw and pull it out with some pliers.

I had changed the old 300#er out for a new LED but still was not happy trying to watch TV and having to crane my neck so, while we have our rig in getting the flooring replaced, we removed the couch/hide a bed, put in a new cabinet to go bewteen two new Lazy Boy chairs. Across from the chairs, we have a new cabinet to hold the TV which has a power up/down. Also in this cabinet is our computer/printer/satelite receiver and file drawer. Makes a whole lot more sense to be able to watch TV that is in front of you. Just in the finishing stages so I will post some finnished photos later.

I took a Love couch out and replaced with a entertainment center.
That holds a 46" Samsung 240Hz Led 3D Smart TV, DirecTV HD DVR receiver , Sony home surround sound receiver with Bose cube speakers and a 8" woofer , Blue Ray DVD, VCR and a Cassette player.
I also replaced the front analog TV with a 20" HD LCD with a DirecTV SD receiver. The bedroom 15" analog TV with a 19" LCD HD and DirecTV HD receiver. And put in a outside compartment a 26" HD LCD.
In the bathroom just a regular 5 1/2" analog TV that works off the bedroom DTV receiver.

Thanks for the posting Triker56 nice looking setup.
May I ask how does the LCD stay on cabinet while traveling?
You sure will not miss anything going on in the world.

I have a wood screw going through each of the 4 legs.
It never moves. It weighs in at only 31.7 lbs.
I also have a 22" LCD monitor for my Desktop PC with a built in TV tuner, that rides on the kitchen table without any hold down. It does move towards the window a bit. That is all the PC and power cord lets it move.

Drill a small hole in the center of the button. Insert a screw intal that hole and wiggle it back and forth and the button should come right out. Below the button you'll find another screw that is holding on the wood surround. Remove it and the surround is now off. Good Luck.

Renden hold on there !! I had the same setup on my 2005 Mt. Aire with the tv on right side. you don't need to take the trim off to get tv out. You can take the wood grille off on back of cabinet by windshield and disconnect the tv from the mount (and reuse the mount for new tv) It's a tight fit but the old tv can be pushed out from the back although it is a three man job.. 1 to push and 2 to grab tv. I replaced the old Sony with a 32" Vizio with front speakers and it fit real nice..

i used large needle to pry, and caused very slight damage to plug.
Puddy stick fixes small dings fine.

If somebody gets close enough to see a slightly damaged plug, smack `em!
