Hi fulltimeraye,
Welcome to iRV2. Can you tell us a bit more about the vibration?
1. Is it a all speeds or just certain speeds.
2. Does it change in intensity? If so, under what conditions does it change intensity.
3. The OP mentions some things that have been done. If you are considering buying the coach, how do you know these things have been done? Are there receipts and documentation to say the work was done?

Vibration through the steering wheel narrows it down to the steering system. Most of the time its a bad tire. Check the manufacture dates on the tires, chances are they installed old tires.

I also would bet on a tire, though it could be a bearing or brakes... When you drive it, see if it changes with speed and/or changes when applying the brakes or accelerating and decelerating.. this'll help narrow it down.

I would check the tires first. Most likley the problem and easy to check over all the other mechanical things it might be. Out of round is common on one tire and can cause the problem. If not the tires and all the other items you said was checked I would look for another MH.

again , thanks for the comback. I took it for a drive and the vibration is at about 80 km or 50 mph. It is a slight ocilation in the wheel. makes,s me think tire,s also. they did find some mud on the engine fan, cleaned that off, and the vibration dissapeared. it is now at the tire store to recheck the new michelin,s for out of round or balance. soooo, looks, like we own a 2002 mountainaire. will keep yu posted

Welcome and congratulations fulltimeraye to the Newmar forum & family.
Check the dates on tires for date of mfg if they are not all going to be changed.
Get the coach weight and use the tire table of mfg for inflation pressures.
Michelin tire info
Many safe miles on them.

Do not overlook the possibility of bent/out of round wheel it self

That can certainly cause what seems like a road vibration, I hope it was that simple for you.
