Thank you Ben for the above information.
I did some more research and found a post by Turbopilot (figures
) about when his middle zone didn't work. He traced it back to a bad connection at the relay in that particular zone electrical box. With the information in hand I did the check of the 2 yellow wires on the 12V side and guess what....no voltage coming to the box on the silverleaf side when the panel is calling for heat.
I guess my next action should be to go after the TM-229 controller in the compartment you mentioned. I've never opened that one panel up but knew it might be coming. Anything I should be aware of when first opening it? I have heard it is a mess back there but that's where I'm headed to check those connections....just not tonight
