Sorry for the delay in publishing this - apologies if duplicate info.

With the Newmar "in warranty" fleet now dwindled to only a couple thousand units (down from some 20,000++ a few years back with the 3 year warranty and higher production) Newmar service in Nappanee is expanding their offerings to include (finally) reasonably priced ROUTINE MAINTENANCE work. Click below for the a'la carte service menus and the money saving "packages" and combos they now offer. Finally, generally well priced routine services from the masters themselves.

This is a work in progress so expect some adjustments.

Some services may be reasonable, but $260 for a wash and $2.000 for a wax job is way beyond reasonable.

A wash job should be $70~$80 and a wax job around $300~$400.

Aww shucks... Cut them some slack... Everything else is not too bad. Even though the wash and (paste) wax is all done by hand, it is pricey. But then again, I wouldn't consider the manufacturer the place to go for either!

It'll be interesting to compare those numbers to Spartan's. We're due for a 24 month service next month, before we head to Alaska. It's actually a couple months early, but we want to get it done before we head west.

I'm going to call Spartan this week and see if I can get a price sheet to compare.

Joe, we too are heading for Spartan but in May then to Newmar for some paint work on our 08 Essex. Would appreciate your sharing price info for Spartan if you get it.

Brake system servicing seems to be omitted from their list. Maybe they are no longer a routine item, .
Wonder what their take would be on a complete fluid flush??? Certainly less than a wax job, ya-think?

The wax job is indeed high but I think it's for a total "buff & cut" where they put 2 or 3 guys on the coach for a day and polish it to the same degree as for pre-delivery of a new one. I wouldn't pay it myself but if it's what I think it is it's a huge time-consuming and detailed effort.
