Under the TECH button, (push it). Once you see temperatures push the round dial. The first temp you see is BTS (battery temp sensor). Rotate the dial clockwise and next you see transformer temp, next is the FET’s (field effect transformers).

From the Magnum display panel - mine has a "Tech"button - press that and the first display is the option to look at various temperatures.

So here is where I'm at. I called the folks at Solar Energy Systems - as identified earlier in the thread. He said maybe a fan problem - maybe a circuit board problem. Replace fans are about $20 each. A circuit board - maybe a $100 (I think he said there is more than one circuit board). They diagnose and ship back within 24 hours. So...my plan...I will remove the inverter and ship it to them. They will diagnose and repair - if the cost is reasonable ($200-$300) - they fix it and return it. If not, they have used and refurbished Magnum inverters for $400 - $700 - some still new enough to be under the Magnum warranty - some a little older- but under their own 90 warranty. Either way, I will most likely avoid a $1,400 expense for a new inverter.

Sounds like a good plan. It's hard to know if the fans are working correctly. At least they can bench test it and put it through it's paces.

Final update. Sent the charger to the folks at Solar Energy. They ran some tests - one fan was completely inoperative....the second fan was making unusual noises. They replaced both fans and all looks good. Final cost about $195 plus shipping (about $50). Well worth it.

I'm glad they could help you.
