Need Allison 3000 owner's manual

I must not have gotten an Allison Transmission Owner's Manual in all the literature with my new coach in 2015. Will Allison send one or is this another "get it off the Internet"?

My main interest right now is when should I change (or should have changed) the first filters and/or fluid in the 3000 transmission? I know the Manual that under general usage the Transynd fluid is good for 75 to 100,000 miles but that was 13 years ago.

I have been collecting all the electronic manuals for my coach so I don't have to carry the big bag of books. One of the few that I don't have is the transmission manual so I took this on as a challenge this morning. I have my paper manual, it is OM5825EN. I went to Freightliner DTNA connect and it was not there but I got my transmission serial number while I was there and verified that I had synthetic transmission fluid. Did many google searches and all I could come up with is the 2005 manual, mine is dated 2015. Played around at the allison site for a while and finally found allisontransmissionpublications.com

In order to get in it required registration, did that. Finally got to the list of all the manuals. Went to the operators manuals, sifted through several pages. Finally found mine and it was $22.50. I'll carry the paper book with me rather than pay that.

As far as maintenance for the 3000 transmission.

From Camp Freightliner for the 3000 transmision
Dexron III - 1 year
Non Prognostic Transmission 3 Yr
Transmission with Prognostics 5 Yr

In my manual
There are three tables in my manual. With prognostics it is table 1. It says to change the fluid when the wrench is illuminated for 2 minutes after selecting drive or 60 calendar months, same for the filter. It does not mention mileage in this table but if you did not have prognostics, the second table says it would be 300,000 miles.

These are all 2005 manuals. The 2015 manuals are different. The maintenance has changed and the 2015 explains the prognostics.

These are 2008. Thank you for posting. They are more recent then I could find. Did you find them on the internet or buy them?

The 2008 is the Gen 4 transmission and I believe that in 2013 they went to the Gen 5. My 2017 chassis came with a 2015 manual. I believe the OP and I both have the Gen 5 transmission.

They have eliminated the 5000 mile filter change but the OP didn't post the rig info so no way to know.

I knew in the earlier Allisons that there was an early filter change and all at once began to wonder if I had missed that somehow. I have approximately 18,000 miles on this 2015 Dutch Star so guess I'm fine for the time being. Thanks to all of you and will take a look at internet file to be sure I don't miss the first filter change.

Using the above pdf link for Allison transmission maintenance I found 2 different charts for fluid/filters change but not sure to tell which one to use. It seems to depend whether the transmission Prognostics are turned on or off. How do we tell if our OEM ordered them turned on or off, if we are supposed to be able to do it, and if we should?

Didn't realize after using Allisons since 2004 in my other coach that they could be so complicated.

Freightliner started turning prognostics on sometime around 2011. As Mr. D mentioned earlier, you never said what coach you have. Is it a Freightliner?
