Need help finding the Engine Control Module on a 1994 F53. I called Newmar nd they were no help. Has anyone changed one out and tell me where it is?

Why would Newmar know where the chassis manufacturer put a control module after 25 years?

Coach is barely running. Has the power of a volkswagen. In the past I have found a bad ECM will do this. It is not in the same place (Behind the brake pedal) as the newer F53's.

I think this is meant as a put down, but I will answer anyway. I have taken the dash loose. I have taken all the trim under the dash loose. I have removed all trim in the area and still no ECM. I have worked on thousands of motorhomes and never had a problem locating the ECM. Ford usually locates the ECM in area of the Steering wheel tower. It is not there. It apprears to me that Newmar relocated the ECM for some reason. That is why I called them.

Thank you "007". Good old "Subford" and his post come through again. I made a major mistake. I always told my techs to never assume. I assumed Ford would never put the module under the hood where it would be exposed to the elements. As you can see from the picture, that is exactly what they did.

More bad news. The picture of the ECM on a Ford 460 motorhome turns out to be on a 460 in a class C not a F53. Still have not located the ECM in this 1994 F53.

PCM found!
Thank goodness I finally found the PCM. Thanks to Subford. He sent me a picture of it. My bad. It was exactly where I had looked twice. Newmar had hidden it behid a pastic trim and carpet. I had to cut the carpet to find it. Thanks to all for your replies.
