I am having a tough time with what I thought would be a twenty minute job. I am replacing the driver's side mirror head and I am unable to get to the wire connector. I loosened the two allen head screws and the head came out of the socket easy enough but I can't pull the wires. So, I pulled the bolt out of the underside of the mirror arm to try and remove the arm to access the wires lower. It won't budge. I am hoping someone here has experience in this job, before I destroy something.
Thanks, Keith

Keith, I had a local RV shop change mine. I did not witness the task but I do remember the tech grumbling about having trouble finding the connections which turned out to be on the inside of the front cap. The wire went from the head through the arm into the cap shell.

Hi! Why not just cut the wires, and then splice them when reinstalling? Paul

I will cut, splice, and heatshrink the wires if noone has a simple solution to access the wire connector near the mount. I was just trying to keep things as original as possible for as long as possible. Thanks for the suggestions.
