I have a 2005 Newmar Scottsdale, and on a recent trip from Rainy Ohio, the passenger side arm started to go further to the right than the other wiper arm.
The one on the drivers side works fine, but this passenger side has me worried as it seems to be slamming too far down when it moves from the center of the window to the edge.
Is there an adjustment to make to bring it back to the correct travel path?
Thanks.

Not sure about your coach, but most wiper assemblies have the arm positioned on a splined shaft with a tightening nut to secure it. You might want to check to see if your splines are worn or it's just a loose nut.

buckeyes.

Do you have a nut attaching your wiper arm to the shaft? If you do, see if the nut is loose.

As everyone has said check the retaining nut just retighten with blade arm in normal rest position near center of windshield. If the burrs are striped from shaft try a wrap some Teflon tape around it before tighting nut.

there are 2 little screws which can work loose and cause the problem.
they are on the inner arm just above the shaft nut.

I had a problem with the passenger side wiper arm. Tighten that nut now!

Wiper Problem

When it gets too loose, the arm won't stop at vertical. It will keep going and lock itself under the driver's wiper arm. Then they freeze in place. While it's raining.

It's not hard to do. There isn't a lot of "swing" room for a wrench, so you need one small enough to move but large enough for the pretty big nut.

Tighten it now before it's a problem in a rainstorm.
