You will be very dissapointed with the "marine/deep cycle" type of batteries. They are trying to serve a dual purpose both starting an outboard motor and running a trolling motor for fishing boats.....but will not live long in an RV application. The lead plates are too thin and light. Compare the weights of the batteries with these Trojans. More lead is a better thing. Read some of the info on the Trojan website..... Will better explain differences between "so called" deep cycle batteries and the true article.

Pasdad,

I didn't check to see who makes the Walmart deep cycle batteries so I don't know about their specs and plate thickness...have you compared them?

Checkout this thread on a fishing forum where fisherman are comparing the walmart everstart brand to Trojan brand batteries.
