Need some quick info...

I arrived at the dealer to pickup my new to me 2004 Newmar MA with the spartan chassis and the 400ISL... Noticed in the rear engine bay that there were a few good size hoses crossing over the engine from the right side to the left side radiator.. The hoses are Supported off the engine in the middle by a rather large zip tie secured overhead..Is this normal..can anyone post a pic... I'm getting ready to step away from this deal...

Any help would be appreciated...Thank you

Is this an aluminum tube , one of the non pressure hoses , or a rad hose ?
A previous owner may have , hung something up trying to cure a rattle, and hanging a non pressure hose from a zip tie , wont do any harm.
A zip tie on an expandable hose like an upper rad hose, particularly if it's tight can be an issue.
Not a picture of my coach but may answer some questions.

The up front Evans heater hoses may come off the top of engine before being routed to the front through the chassis rails, you would not want the heater hoses resting on the engine to burn a hole through the hose.

I wish I could post a picture...its like 2-3 hoses ranging in size from from 5/8th to maybe 2" ... Not sure if there radiator , Hydraulic or air... There to far in to reach... (Unless I can find a ladder...).. They seem to come off the right side of the engine crossing over the top towards the Side Radiator... The zip ties appear to keep it lifted off the engine... Seems like a real half azz way of supporting the hoses..

I have a 2002 DSDP in my yard for someone I will take a look tomorrow it has a side radiator also.
The larger hose would be for the engine coolant to radiator.
If radiator was in front of engine the large hoses would be direct between the two, with side radiator you have to feed them over the top some how to get to side radiator.

If you have a hydraulic motor operating the side radiator fan these could be the hydraulic lines for that purpose.

Have a nice day - Darrel
