New 2017 Dutch Star 4369

We are the proud owners of a new 2017 Dutch Star 4369. We live and travel in our motor home full-time. Our previous coach was a 2012 Tiffin Allegro Bus 40QXP that served us very well. So well, that we intended to purchase another Tiffin motor home when the time came. To our dismay, Tiffin no longer makes a floor plan that meets our needs so we turned to Newmar.

Now that we have lived in our new Dutch Star for 2 1/2 weeks, we are delighted and even bigger fans of Newmar motor homes. Here is a list of our initial impressions and significant enhancements we are experiencing with our Newmar Dutch Star:

Best Things about the Dutch Star
• Comfort Steer – Wow, what if difference!
• Heated Floors
• Recliners across from big screen TV
• Sony 48 inch television on televator behind sofa
• Bottom opening windows
• Better insulated sidewalls, roof and floors
• More comfortable with stable inside temperatures
• Very quiet inside
• All tile floors
• High quality cabinetry—Excellent fit and finish
• Comfortable sofa
• Brighter Lighting
• Closets in bedroom
• Oasis has dual electric elements – more heat on electric
• Oasis furnace mode is more efficient than AquaHot (my opinion)
• No standing water on slide-out toppers (angled for better runoff)
• Four corner drains on roof – no black streaks from overflow on rain gutters.
• Structurally solid – less frame twist, probably due to the STAR foundation chassis
• Conveniently located electrical outlets—many with USB ports
• Basement storage with the tandem axle 43-foot Newmar is a little more than we had in the Tiffin 40-foot single axle, yet very close.
• Exterior pegboard and bin storage
• Retracting upper screen on entry screen door
• Sewer hose storage above tandem axle

Here are a couple of photos.

Welcome to the forum. Nice motorhome. You should join the Fulltimers group of the Newmar Kountry Klub.

Welcome!

Beautiful coach, LK23! Welcome to the Newmar group. We love our Dutch Star 4369, too. We've been full timing in it for a year now and find it completely comfortable and livable. We fell in love originally with the beauty of the woodwork and have come to appreciate many other details. The floorplan itself is perfect for us and Newmar is an excellent customer-focussed company. I rely on the kindness, wisdom and knowledge of the very generous people on this forum for help with any questions or issues.

Congrats Rex! It was a long journey with many twists and turns, but sounds like it all has ended very well. You made the right choice. Now enjoy it. Safe travels.

Congratulations Rex! We too came over from Tiffin this year and absolutely love our DS 4369 for many of the same reasons you listed.
Wait till you get to go to Newmar Factory in Napannee. Not only do they do great work, the area is beautiful.
Travel Safe!!
