New 4363 Dutch Star

Hi Newmar folks, We pulled the trigger on a new coach. Sea pearl inside and out. Gloss cherry cabinets. Build late October I hope. Hard part: stowing everything until it arrives. Patiently waiting (Yeah Right!)

In the world of Newmar, you have a short wait time, we waited 6 months. Congratulations!

yeah, I get it. but it has only been 2 1/2 years, so the tpms, weather radio, tire covers, yada yada are still good. Of course the towels, rugs, sheets, and whatever else will have to match.

The waiting is the hardest thing, that, and the "what other specials are out there" that keeps bouncing through my brain. When all is said and done there will be a LONG list of people to thank here, some from personal questions, and others whose ideas I've stolen from reading theirs build posts.

First conrats on you purchase.
Just out of curiosity did you have to give up you present coach to order the new one?

We did trade it in, Shirley is having knee surgery so it’s not like we were going to be using it. No more depreciation, insurance, or storage for a bit. Win win.

Congrats on you guys new coach! As a nurse, make sure your wife gets through the rehab after knee surgery. Your new "job" for a few weeks! Congrats again

What surgery is she having, btw?

DW had knee done last August, due to family issues she was unable to complete her rehab and still has a few issues with long drives in the car where she can't get up and walk around.
As stated by rmk83 make sure she does all here therapy

We're looking at ordering tomorrow, but keeping our coach through the Labor Day weekend for a short trip with the kids. We'll hopefully have about two months after that for it to sell and the new one arrive.

I'm already trying to decide where to put all the stuff. It looks like it will get bagged/covered on the patio for awhile.

I ordered many things that I installed my self previously, but still see some things like a water pressure regulator and a few other goodies that it will need.
