New Aire 30amp Hook Up

Question: Is there anything special that needs to be done with Silverleaf or any other setting that needs to be reset when I hook up my NA to a 30amp post?
I have been doing this with my previous MH for over a decade and understand about what can and can’t be used once hook up takes place but don’t know if some setting needs attention first if I do it in the New Aire.
Thanks...

I read a previous New Aire post a couple of months ago (not sure where) that said between 50 amp and 30 amp, the SilverLeaf system recognizes input and adjusts accordingly. There is a selection in a SilverLeaf submenu, but manual adjustment is not required. According to this post, manual adjustment would be required for 20 amps, but I don’t intend to hook up to that.

I used a 30 amp hookup once and paid attention to what I ran so as not to draw too much. When unplugging I was surprised how hot the dog bone was (not good). I’m not sure why it happened, but if you use 30 amp, monitor the temperature of your dog bone.

When in storage, I’m plugged into 30 amp. No special settings that I’m aware of. However, I’m very careful to have only one a/c active and the oasis off....mostly to avoid tripping breaker at shore power source.

I’ve used a 30A service several times, no adjustment necessary in SilverLeaf.

I’ve not experienced the hot dog bone Ward described; however, I’ll be paying better attention in the future.
