What electrical items should be left on during storage? Do the requirements vary based on outside temperature? Is 20 amp service adequate?
Hello Gal218,
I have a New Aire 3341 and can run one air conditioner on a standard 15 amp plug. I have 50 amp at my home for normal use, but the 15 amp will work in most situations for me, although not recommended. . Now, if the frig/oasis/ and inverter/charger were to all fire up at the same time I would flip a breaker, but the odds are quite low of that happening.

Thanks...more great info.

I will probably only use the A/C when working on the coach and would be there if a CB tripped.

I'm also in Florida and keep our coach in covered storage, but I don't have any power. I have no issues with humidity causing any problems on the inside. I keep all the windows and roof vents closed. Just being under cover lowers the temp significantly.
Since you do have power, use it to keep the batteries topped off.... if your Magnum is like mine, make sure you change it so it knows you have only 20 amps available. If you are concerned about humidity inside, instead of the AC unit(s), which may trip breakers and put you out of business entirely while you are away, why not try a dehumidifier. It will use much less power.
Good luck on the new coach !

Thanks...I appreciate your feedback on storing without power. Will probably do as you suggest...just run a dehumidifier. How long do you typically go between uses? After storing without power, what steps do you need to go thru to prepare coach for a trip?
