Once I found the right harness, it was a simply plug and play.
Is this on all Freightliner chassis or just the NA?? Thanks

We are in our first year with our Class A as well. Our ultimate goal is a Wrangler (we are targeting back country exploration). However, we were lucky enough to already own a Honda Fit (4 down towable). Feeling the financial pinch in the first year, we set the Honda up for towing and the Wrangler is coming over this winter. So I understand where you're coming from.

The high value of the Wranglers makes it a harder pill to take, but also gives comfort that I can't loose my shirt. One of two things will happen: 1. We love it and resale concerns go out the window. Or, 2. It doesn't work and we may or may not loose some money. It sounds like win/win to me.

We just returned from an 8k mile trip and used the toad 1k miles. For much of the trip, we didn't touch it. However, for the miles it was used, we are thankful.

Harness was for newer Freightliner chassis, not NA specific.

Going by the old “better to have it and not need it than to need it and not have it” Come on, who are we trying to kid here? We boomers are the kings of redundancy. Why do we carry 2 of everything in an environment that is severely lacking in storage capacity? Even have to have at least 2 TVs. I wanna watch Packers-Bears, she wants to watch Hannity. We wouldn’t even consider going on the road without a respectable tool box! We also tend to be doomsayers. The Motorhome will break down in the middle of Death Valley and all my tools won’t get me out. But my toad will! Camping for years in all kinds of RV configurations. Toad and no toad. Toad better. We just sleep better at night knowing the toad is there. Now go ahead and tell me you don’t have 2 hoses, 2 stinky slinky’s and 2 50 amp shorecords and as we speak, you’re trying to devise a way to carry a second generator. You know, just in case.........................
