Yup. I'm changing every 12 months as I don't hit the hours or mileage.

Which oil?

Which type of oil are those change intervals for?
Conventional?
Semi-synthetic?
Synthetic?

I did my oil change at 1 year from the chassis build date which was at 6 months from the coach build date. I change the oil every 12 months after that. We drive 10 - 12 k miles per year. This is what was recommended by Freightliner. Not sure what Spartan says, but we have the same engine.

How do you find out the chassis build date?

Freightliner has a website with all the parts, drawings, recalls and information about the chassis. That is where I got it, not sure about Spartan. I am not in my coach, but it should also be on the manufacturer labels in the coach.

Spartan says to do it on time and not worry about the mileage. I plan on going that route.

Just remember your engine warranty is with Cummins not Spartan. When I took the spartan class they said 15k or one year. I believe Cummins says 20,000 or annual on the L9.
