I did not want to highjack the other thread so I will ask my question here. It was stated some of you have the all electric option, can you get this on a 07 DSDP? I cant find it in the options list and other than larger fridge what else comes with it?

I'm not sure all electric is available on a DSDP, however if you request it they may be able to provide it. The all electric coach comes with 8 house batteries instead of 4, additional basement storage where the tank would have been, auto genset start, a honking big 24 cu. ft. frig with door dispensing ice and water, an electric glass top two burner stove, to name what I can think.

I had questions too, as this is my first. At this point, and I've done 9,000 miles so far since the end of August, I would not want anything but all electric. It seems to hold up well while dry camping for a day or so and the frig is to die for.

Note: There are options available that are not listed. Best ask Newmar, not the dealer.

My wife has informed me that if I live through the BBT experience and we do get another coach,it'll be an all electric coach with the much nicer "residential" refrigerator.

I can't answer what Newmar will do on the Dutch Star but I can speak for the fridge. On our 42' Bus we now have the residential fridge option. It comes with a 21 cu ft Amana side by side fridge with ice and water in the door, 8 coach AGM style batteries, automatic generator start and a 3,000 watt inverter. It also came with a 125 watt solar panel, but I removed it so that I could install four 120 watt panels. We really like this setup and 8 AGM batteries gives you some nice run time before the AGS needs to fire up the genset. If you have the inverter and enough batteries the residential fridge is a great choice in any coach. It's very consistent in keeping even temperatures, unlike the 4 door Norcold and we figure that the propane tank should need refilling every 3 years (we have Hydronic heat so the only thing on LP is the cooktop).
