Sorry but the average buyer of a Newmar could give a good s--- if it was star, aire or whatever. They don't know or care which model is above/below another one but they do know it is a Newmar! Just look at the name of the most successful Class A of all time "Bounder"!

Dave, out of curiousity could you provide me a link of some kind that shows the Fleetwood Bounder is the most successful class A of all time?
Never heard that and I'd like to read the article and see the theory.

I should have said one of the best selling(if not the best), not successful(Fleetwood's profit not been too good last few years) .

In most cases i agree the name is sort of irrlevant -- unless it's a real dog of a name. What was that new MH that came out recently -- The Flounder? Did they keep that name or change it? I can't remember.
I don't think the King Aire is as bad as Flounder - but .. .
I like the county names idea. They should revisit this for sure. The Essex is such a cool name - so the Essex II would be a much better choice than King Aire. I kinda like how Newmar throws in the unusual names. Like Dutch Star. That's a cool name too
What do i know --- i'm just another Newmar "Wannabe Aire".

Lucy, your Allegro is almost 2 whole model years old.
Now would be a good time to get a new Newmar.

Perhaps a little double teaming is in order.

You funny guys.
Yea - i think we might have pursued a trade soon, but since DH just got transferred to Florida - that will have to wait. Our Bus is in its new storage home in Florida. We'll be living in Weston, FL - moving end of this month. BTW - RV Storage spots are difficult to come by down there & double the cost. Plus they are only 10 feet wide. Yikes! We are in a 45' MH space -- but i'm not entirely sure how we'd ever get a 45' in this spot. I think they must measure things differently in FL. He He... We are on a waiting list for indoor storage --- which are 12 feet wide. Though if we get one -- like another Bus owner says -- he'll be bequeathing it to his kids.. $300/mo. Double Yikes!
Where's that winning lottery ticket???
Lucy

Hi Lucy,
Now there is finally someone who lives farther South than me. Congrats on becoming a Florida resident. You'll save big bucks with no State Income tax. Then you can spend it all on home owners insurance! Once you move to Weston, I will be about 50 miles North of you, right up Rt 441. There is plenty to do in South Florida. One of our great pastimes is to enjoy the snow,,,,,on the TV.

Looking at the King Aire info on leesrv.com, the natural cherry cabinets are standard.
There are 5 optional high gloss cherry cabinets available at almost $11,000.
