New King Aire Newmar

We just purchased a new (2014) King Aire 4593 from Ancira RV in Fort Worth. The 2015's are coming in and they wanted to "deal" on the new 2014 so we bought the coach. We have loyal Tiffin owners (5 Allegro Buses) since 2005. We trade coaches every two years and the 2015 Tiffin's did not have a floor plan we liked and we have heard so many good things about Newmar''s that we decided to make the leap and go with a new King Aire.

The reason for this post (other than to join the forum and say Hi) is to ask any of the Newmar members (especially those who own a 2014 King Aire 4593) if they would share some of their "pros and cons" concerning this model King Aire?

We look forward to many years of enjoyment with our new coach and hopefully we have made the right decision on changing from a Tiffin product.

We know that there are better built coaches out there but sure need to be convinced that there is better service offered. We hope Newmar's service is up to what we have had from Bob Tiffin and his staff.

Any help out there on my request?

Thanks so much.

Hi Carl, my post was directed at customer service and the response to a large problem.........The Entegra owner has not contacted customer service as of yet as I know? But, yes, what a mess he has, coolant soaked carpet! The OP's question or one of them was about Customer Service........Problems happen with everything, how the problem is handled when reported to CS is what I learn from.

This problem occured today on the side 8f the road, entegra coustomer service had mechanics out on the side of the road in short order, are you saying that entegra has better customer service? All coaches have issues the way you are taken care of is what matters. I know someone personally that had major issues with a new entegra the factory had it returned on their own dime with out a fuss

We're getting way off topic here . Let's get back to the topic.
Thanks, Cliff

Did you buy the one with the black interior?

My wife and I looked at that one, very nice coach. The floor is awesome.

There is not a lot to be concerned with involving the King Aire. The Spartan K3GT chassis doesn't have any of the flex that other chassis have.

I will be curious to hear about your comparisons between coaches.

Congrats on your purchase, a simple call to Newmar customer service will answer all questions about their customer service.

No we liked the other one better (although I have never seen either one in person, I bought it from the pictures on the internet-I hope I am not disappointed). Did you happen to see the one I am talking about? if so what do you think? we bought the one with the Mocha Exterior and the Vero Interior. They are coming to pick mine up on Tuesday and I don't know when I will be able to go and pick the new coach up and take my "Walk around course" the reason being is that my wife had a total hip replacement on Wednesday of this week so I am "home bound" for awhile. Can't wait to get it though and compare the two companies and the two coaches. The insurance price was a shock, but that is another story.

Congratulations on the new KA. We switched to Newmar 8 months ago and they build an incredible coach. We have friends with a KA and they love it.
