We haven't full timed yet, but have a couple 2 month trips with our CS3963 and we have loved every minute of it. Newmar makes an excellent coach that I can honestly say (hopefully not jinxing myself) that the issues we have had after 2 1/2 years, 16 tailgates and 25000 miles have been extremely minor. Not sure if we are just in the honeymoon time frame, but believe Newmar was the right choice.

Go for it.......

We love our 3953 and our Airedale Terrier does to!

We live in ours 4 to 5 months out of the year......no problem.

We have "camped" in weather down to upper 20s and furnace keeps us nice and warm. The heat pumps work well also into the upper 30s, better in the 40s. The ACs work as designed.

May I suggest if you are ordering from the factory, order a 1500 AC unit for the front - it is not needed in the rear. 13.5 units are standard.

Hope this helps a little, if you have mire questions four away or PM me.

Good luck!

g

I couldn’t agree more about upgrading the front AC / Heat Pump. There’s slot of glass up front.

Our Bay Star has definitely handled the extreme cold this past month and I couldn’t be happier. I would expect the same out of a Canyon Star as well.

The 15K BTU heat pump air conditioners were what I was hoping to install. They aren't listed as typical options but I have heard that Newmar will make exceptions some times.
Thanks!

Ditto on the 15K, if we had known better we would have.
