New Thetford Aria toilet

Has anyone installed a new Aria toilet? Wanting to know if it is any quieter operating it than the old Aria you took out. Needing 3 parts for mine and it's half the cost of a new one and will still have a 12 year old toilet with old parts.

I rebuilt the Thetford Aria in my Dynasty using parts. As I recall, the job was a bit tedious, but I got it done. I do not recall a significant difference in operating volume. You might want to call Thetford support and ask them.

I have rebuilt our Thetford Aria Deluxe II. All new electrical and valves.
Noise levels did not change.

When I first purchased my coach, the toilet was very noisy. I pulled it apart, greased the gears and put it back in. The noise was reduced somewhat, but it was still quite loud.

A few years later, I purchased and installed an all new Aria Deluxe II toilet (same model). It is quieter, but is not silent.

I was faced with same repair - replace decision, so I replaced it.

Thank you for the responses. Ordered a new one about a hour ago. Caught one on sale for less than 600. Seemed to be a bargain after getting quotes that were way higher.

Thinking about the sound. With the back so open and the wall behind it maybe a piece of sound board would help. I know that's where alot of the sound is coming from. Just a thought.

For me, the solution is fresh lithium grease on the gears and silicone spray on the sliding trap.

I am doubtful you could sufficiently enclose the area to contain the growl.

Update: received new toilet this morning. Took about 30 minutes to take old one out and put the new one in. Seems a little bit quieter. Is definitely smoother operating and the water flow is way better.
