Hello to all. We are new to the forum & really appreciate all the helpful info that is posted. I know that I will have questions because we just got our motorhome. Traded in our Damon Daybreak(Gas) & upgraded to the Newmar Ventana(Diesel).

Hello to GaryKD, "007", Chickadee, & 69 RoadRunner
Sorry it has taken so long to reply to your welcome messages. We just returned from our 1st trip in the Newmar. Happy to say all went well & we really enjoyed both traveling & camping in the new coach. We are still trying to figure out how all the ammenities work.

Thanks for the welcome Spike. Nice to hear from other Ventana owners. I have a question. I noticed a spot under the cocach today. After crawling around under the rear, I was able to tract where it was coming from. I found a tube, approx. 3/4" that looks like it feeds into the transmission. Don't know if it is the fill tube or from a transmission cooler. The fluid looks lke trans fluid. Any ideas?

Hello & thanks for the welcome. I have 1 of those dumb questions to ask. I noticed a leak under the coach today. It's coming from a black tube, aprox. 3/4" that runs down to the transmission. It's bolted to the side of the trans. Don't know if this is the fill tube or a tube from a trans. cooler(or if I even have one). The leak looks like it's coming from where the tube enters a section that is on the drivers side, lower section of the trans. Any idea?

Can't help you with your query, but I can welcome you to the Newmar experience. We also moved from a Damon (a good coach inits class) to an 07 Mountain Aire MACA3991. Our next one will hopefully be a Ventanna 4333. Enjoy!!!!

If you post your question down in Spartan Chassis forum you may get a quicker answer. The tube sounds like your filler tube and you should have a cap with rod to measure your fluid level in trans. If your trans is over full when fluid heats up may over flow out this tube, cooling system cooling for trans should keep fluid cool enough so this will not happen.
You can call Spartan and get some answers if non forth coming from forum.
Shouldn't let go to long.
