Newbie to Newmar

Hello fellow Newmar owners! My wife and I purchased a 2018 Newmar Baystar 3009 this summer upsizing from a Winnebago class C. We are soon departing on a trip to the Black Hills. We have followed this forum with great interest and already have learned a lot about the Newmar brand. We look forward to sharing our experiences with the group.

Glad to have you join us on the forum and congratulations on the new coach. Picking a Newmar was a great choice. Safe travels...and, check in here often to let us know where you are, ask questions or share your expertise in some area with the rest of us.

Welcome!
Enjoy your new coach, and your travels. If possible, do not rush. If you find yourself at a nice CG, stay an extra day! Or 2!
Youíve made a fine choice with Newmar. As a measure of the quality they build into a coach, consider this: we just spent the summer parked in central Texas in our 17 y/o Dutch Star. Three full months of mid-90s +, with 24 days in August at 100+. Through it all our coach maintained a stately comfortable 71-72* internal temp, and the roof units were cycling normally. Maintaining a 30 degree delta T speaks to box construction and insulation. The best in the business!
Enjoy, and keep us posted!!
