The primary difference is on the newer gas coach’s built on the 24 and 26K chassis, they tend to go down the road higher in the back due to excess load capacity. Diesels with air suspension are constantly adjusting to a predetermined ride height and tend to be more level. The big difference that effects leveling is on the Diesels the air suspension drains lowering the chassis all of the way down prior to starting the leveling process on a gasser the back is still higher due to the leaf springs capacity, the rear jacks mounted behind the axle add to the issue.
For example my Canyon star 3710 had a cargo capacity of nearly 9000 pounds due to the 26k chassis, a large part of that capacity was over the rear axle.
This is not to say that under the right/wrong conditions a diesel front wheel can’t come of the ground , just less likely in my experience. Obviously many factors come in to play; wheel base, capacity, and the site itself to name a few.
