Newmar 2002 Dutch Star need help with docking lights

I have a 2002 Dutch Star DP. My docking light bulb needs to be replaced, but can't figure out how to take lens cover off. I have ordered new from Newmar, and even with the new one, it does not appear that you can remove the lends to replace the light. They only cost some $23 to purchase new unit to plug in. What the heck am I missing. There must be a way to get that lens cover off without breaking the lens. Thanks

I can never remember which lights are which, but if the Docking Lights are the clear long lights with rounded ends, near each wheel, you have to buy the complete unit, the lenses do not come off. I replaced all of mine last year while I was at Newmar. I just popped them out, plugged in the new ones, and pushed them back in.

Thanks Mike

It's hard to believe that they are throw away lights..... I have purchased a few extra for that very reason.

Try these:

6" Oval Flush Mount LED Backup or Auxillary Lamp

How to install:

RVgeeks Contest! Win $250 Worth of LED Lights For Your RV!

As Mike said, pop out/pop in...

On my '02, I changed them out last year and replaced the security/scare light lens at the top of the coach and changed those bulbs to LED...........updates the coach - looks better than yellow - and the light is second to none....

Good luck......
