Newmar 2019 models

What time of year does Newmar release the next year's models? i.e. when will we see 2019 models?

See them? About 4 months after you place your order. You can usually get your build sheets and place an order mid May. Very little info at that time. Plunk down your money and hope for the best. Done it twice and will do it again. You can get a good idea of what your ordering from the current year. The only info you’ll be missing is on new features.
Which model are you considering?

You should start hearing things after the dealer show - which I believe is in April this year...

The 2019 models should be available for inspection and purchase at the Newmar 2019 Rally in Gillette, WY in late June.

Are you sure? Did you see some that early before? I try to get my order in as early as possible and seems like dealers are not getting theirs any earlier than me in September.

Correct Rally date year to 2018. I looked at the 2013 models at the 2012 Rally in Gillette. Newmar scrambles to get about a dozen models to the dealer who will be showing them and taking orders at the Rally.. A dealer show introduces the newest models to Newmar dealers around the end of April. At that has been the MO.

Thanks joes.
I’m still trying to find out about the new Cummins for the Dutch Star for 2019.
Service writer at the Spartan dealership in El Paso said yes, but I’m not sure how much he really knows.

Not to hijack this thread but if I could get a 500 hp Cummins and an optional control for the passenger side like the Essex to control audio/navigational and level readings in wet bay in Dutch Star I’m ordering immediately...Jmho...David

I saw a comment a few months ago about a new 480 hp Cummins coming for the Dutch Star in 2019. So I asked the service writer in El Paso. He said which model do you have? I said the Dutch Star. He said yes, I think that’s the model. Then I asked if it will be a paper upgrade, ie. 480 hp but still 1250 torque? He said I don’t know about that. So it “seemingly” confirmed an upgrade. I then asked my contact at Spartan and he told me he can’t release any info until it comes from Newmar. So still a rumor., but would certainly make my 2018 obsolete, and quite possibly dangerous.

Derated ISX12? That would bump up the price especially if it had the Allision 4000!!!

My guess is that they will advertise the same engine as 480, 450 and 400 HP for different price points, all 1250 torque. Smoke and mirrors.
