It would make sense, but would that happen after the refresh? For dsdp they did the refresh in 2013, and waited until 2015 to introduce the girard. It was planned all along, as the 2013 mountainaire was identical to dsdp, just had the MA upgrades, including the girard. When MA finally joined the 45 club, the dsdp became very close to the prior MA without the extra 50hp.

If you look at ventana vs dsdp, there are very few differences, but they can continue with 400HP rear radiator, carpet, and no IFS for a while and along with other hidden cost savers keep a distinction.

Another trick is to offer 500HP in dsdp and raise its price to keep the price gap solidly in place.

If any coach was on the slaughter list it would be MADP followed by Essex.

I dont think they will kill Essex, since it does sell enough and there is a gap to be filled between LaDP and KGDB.

My 2024 purchase will most likely be an LADP with Valid air on a Freightliner, since I refuse to own a Hadley.

(Have I left enough gems here to help your thread? Your welcome [emoji87] )

And bring the Kountry Star back somewhere in between VDP/DS area if Ventana moves up.
I've wondered when the DS would get the 500hp and 45ft Mountain Aires got the 605 too. 40ft MA have a 605 as an option, otherwise shares the 500, but has many other amenities.

Because of the terrible Hadley air ride. This is the biggest reason to avoid spartan on high line.

Can you get a high line without air ride so you can have HWH install it or is HWH close enough to Valid to not warrant that? I have a hunch you can't exclude it.

DS on a Spartan will get service Center like the Ventana did this year.

DS will get more electronics....not sure which ones but it will happen.

You can remove hadley and install hwh.

If you have valid, then it is so close to hwh I wouldn't bother with the expense.

On the high line, this is a $10k advantage for freightliner if you are wanting an active air system for safety and comfort.

That would be a big deal for dsdp. This is an advantage that although won't sway my decision, would certainly would be a nice to have.

I would certainly add it as a "pro" in the spartan column.
