The time is fast approaching for the Newmar Kountry Klub 21st International Rally, to be held at the Champlain Valley Exposition, in Essex Junction, Vermont.
Six days/Six nights, Saturday to Friday a.m., September 30th thru October 6, 2006.
Early Bird Parking on Thursday & Friday September 28th & 29th.
Two Adults in RV Unit $350.00
One Adult in RV Unit $250.00
Add'l Guest in RV Unit $168.00
(12 yrs.& over) each
Children, (5 to 11 yrs.)each $85.00
Children, (under 4 yrs.) Free
Reservation Deadline : Friday, September 15th,2006.
Register for the 2006 International Rally on or before Friday,June 30th,2006 and your Klub number will be entered into the "Klub's Rally Refund Draw". During Opening Ceremonies 7 Lucky Klub Members numbers will be drawn, if you are one of the 7 lucky ones whose Klub number is drawn your rally fee will be refunded to you. Please Note:Rally Refund Fee is based one/two people in a unit. Ed.S

jojolima, From what I've be hearing, this Newmar International Rally will be one in a millon, having a rally in the fall in New England can't get much better. Ed.S

We have taken out a mortgage on the house so we can afford the high fuel prices(LOL), so we are heading to the great rally too. It is our first newmar international rally and I am sure we will have a great time.
Any thoughts on taking the Newmar factory tour on the way there from the west, or after the rally on the way to Branson. Do we need to pre-book a tour, or just show up.

To; Obi -Wan Kenobi and others, Re; Newmar rally,

I think it would be better to take factory tour by appoinment, after the rally as they will be busy before it getting ready to go. The tour is a good take-in.

As far as Burlington, Vermont, Essex Junction, it;s in a very scenic part of New England. Close to Lake Champlain and boat cruises, weather permitting, the city of Burlington has a campground right on the lake shore, for any early-birds.

Have been to 2 non Newmar rallies there and can't wait to go this year.

Hope to see many IRVers there, maybe we should make plans to go in together,, those that don't belong to a Newmar chapter.

Let's get planning.

No you don't have to make an appointment to tour thr Newmar plant, tours are Monday thru Friday at 10:00 o'clock am and again at 1 o'clock pm well worth the time to go through. Ed.S

An update of the Newmar International Rally, Newmar has been guaranteed 900 electric and water sites-after that the Staff at the Exposition Center will do their best to accommodate everyone who wishes to attend the rally, so with that being said I would encourage you to get your reservations in early.
In some cases your water may be shared with another unit(Please make sure you bring an extra water hose and 30 amp extension cord)in case you need it. These items should be part of your normal rally equipment. Ed.S

For those of you who are heading up to the Newmar International Rally and have not made reservations prior to coming to the rally, may I suggest Lake George Escape RV park, it's approximately 2 hrs. from Essex Junction, Vermont, a beautiful park.

P.S. The Sunset Dinner Cruise which is Tour# 7 and the Sunday Brunch Cruise which is Tour# 8 on Lake Champlain are completly booked as of Friday the 20th this comes from the Newmar Klub Office, yep we missed it to! hopefully there will be a standby list.

We hope to run into iRV2 members at Essex Junction. We'll come in on the 30th. We will spend the 7 days before the rally at Apple Orchard RV Park on Grand Isle, VT - about 20 minutes from Essex Junction.
