I posted a question concerning the Newmar Ventana yesterday and replied to the good responses I received, but am posting my reply as a new post here to be sure it is seen by as many people as possible.
I have been looking at an 08 Ventana 3933 and I had some concern about the adequacy of the ISB 350 engine and road stability including the value/desireability of the non-adjustable Comfort Drive on the 08 models.
It appears the 39 should track well and be easy to drive with Comfort Drive according to feedback received so far. Those who have 08 models with the adjustable Comfort Drive seem to indicate they like a setting of 2.5 and indicate that setting is close to the fixed setting on the 08s. If anyone has additional thoughts on that please chime in.
The reason I have wondered about the adequacy of the ISB 350 power plant on the 08 Ventana is that the 07s had the larger ISC 330 hp engine with more torque and that the 09s have gone back to the larger ISC engine (now 360 hp). So, I am looking for any additional feedback out there concerning the 08s ability to climb grades while towing a car behind.
Thanks for your responses.
Don
