The rear air is the primary in the system. In all likelyhood you have a failed pressure sensor or perhaps guage. The alarm may be built in and triggered from the guage. If you truly had only 25 psi you would have the park brake plunger would pop out and apply the spring brakes.
When you started it up, did you have your parking or headlights on? I have seen an issue similar that the air alarm and pressure malfuctions if the engine is started with the lights on. With light out, no problem. In that case the information bar required a reflash. Anyway, either way it should be an easy fix.

Have a quick look up umder your dash, at the back of the gauges, look to see if you have air tubing going to the gauges. They will be 3/8" dia, colored plastic lines. If there are tubes then you have manual not electronic gauges; and a good possibility of a leak in the system. A two way check valve may be suppling the spring (park) brake with air to keep it from appling. Run the coach until the one gauge reads normal pressure, then shut off and listen for leaks. If you hear a leak without applying the brakes, it narrows down where in the brake system it my be. A leak when sitting would be between the tank and the foot valve. Use caution when looking around as the suspension may come down if the pressure gets low enough. Eye protection also as a leak could blow dirt into your face.

Developed the same or almost the same problem you have on my 2000 Dutchstar yesterday. Where is the low pressure switch located. My pressure goes up to 70lbs and no more - slow to go up and light does go out after it reaches 50 psi. Seems to be working alright other than that.,.stops good and can no hear any leaks and my air bag are up and not leaking. Any help would be apprectiated...Thanks Scott Enos, Lake City, Fl

Thanks for info. Called Spartan Chassis - they were very helpful, sent me a flow diagram for my brakes and the air ride system. Nice people. I swapped the wires out on my gauges since they were easier to get to and the problem followed so I realized I had a sensor problem but didn't know where they were located..Now I do...Thanks for the info..Scott

carswayne, can you post a picture of the sensors. I realize your running a Spartan chassis and I have F/L, but on my unit the switches on the foot valve, below the brake pedal, are the brake light switches. (primary and secondary), dual switches so you have brake lights if one side of the system has no air.

Yes, they are located below your brake pedal on the treadle valve assy. Can't see them unless you slide the generator out of the way on this model RV and they are up and to the driver side of the motor home just below where the brake pedal comes through the floor. I will try to get you a picture taken of them when I go to replace my sensor - should be tomorrow. Call Spartan and ask for Dave Martins and he will send you a diagram of your chassis for that years air flow - brakes and air ride system..

carswayne & dogjaw, I guess F/L and Spartan are as different as chalk and cheese. My air system sensors are internal in the Vehicle Data Controller. That communicates over data link wire with all the dash gauges and buzzers. The VDC is in the rear; engine bay; and I thought it was the Anti-lock Brake controller. I guess I've got a search on my hands, to find that unit.

Call FL and give them your chassis number and they will probably be able to send you an air diagram (flow chart) for your particular year and chassis just as Spartan did for me...

Thanks, dogjaw, the chart from F/L is how I identified the VDC, and the location. Anti-lock brake sensors show on the wiring diagrams, and on the coach, but no sign of a controller yet. Called F/L help last week on another matter, so I'll wait a few before I call again.
