Newmar All Star 3950 Dumping Air Bags

I just bought a 2007 Newmar All Star 3950 and can't seem to figure out how to dump the air bags. Any ideas?

Also, does anyone know where I can purchase or view online an owner's manual for this model?

Thanks.

Hi mrwinc29,
Welcome to iRV2. Consider posting this question in the Newmar Owner's Forum. On the main iRV2 page, scroll about 1/2 way down the page. You'll see the owners forums. I suggest this because your question is specific to a Brand and model of coach. Nobody knows your coach like someone who owns one just like yours.

That being said, the brochure for your coach says you have leveling with "Touch Control". If you must manually level the coach, there is a "dump" button on the jack control panel. If there is auto leveling, dumping the air should be taken care of once you press the auto level button on the jack control panel.

The brochure can be had by going to http://www.newmarcorp.com/uploads/br...E_brochure.pdf

For technical information go to http://comnet2.newmarcorp.com/instan...tMode=&nextURL=

The owners manual does not say much about the individual components. Consider going to the component manufacturer's site with the model that is on your coach. The owner's manual for that component should be found there. For the jacks, determine if they are HWH or Power Gear. Then go to that manufacturer's web site.

There are two leveling system they offered in 2007 (as far as I know), do you have the Atwood or the hwh levelers?

With the hwh you simply press the dump button, I will let someone with the Atwood system speak for that one.

Enjoy the 3950 it is a great rig, we picked ours up in Nov and already have put nearly 8k miles on it.

Welcome to the Newmar forum & irv2 mrwinc29.
Congratulations your Newmar and many safe miles for you.
Here is a Owners Guide for 2007 All Star, not sure it will have what you need to answer your question but there is also more info in the Quick Tips link that may help you.
If you go to this link COM_NET2 LINK and the TSB's for your coach in the Tech Reference Section you will see bulletins for your year coach.

Looking at the manual for the atwood stands, See below.

TO MANUALLY DUMP THE AIR BAGS
a. Engine must be running.
b. Transmission must be OUT of Park/Neutral.
c. Parking brake must NOT be engaged.
d. Atwood Levelegs keypad is NOT on. Lights inside the ON switch
are not lit.
e. Press the FRONT + REAR + ALL buttons to dump air from air
bags. (Note: Air dump feature does need to be enabled for this
feature to work.)
f. Air bags dump in approximately 20 seconds and air bags refill
60 seconds from the start of the air dump.

It looks like they really want you to press auto and let the system do its thing.
